The Y is a great place to volunteer
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. From coaches and teachers, to program coordinators, after-school mentors, office helpers, marketers, and board members, they really make the YMCA possible.
There's definitely a place for your passion. When you serve with the Y, you’re part of the world’s largest nonprofit with a mission for youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
Lead a class, tutor a kid, serve on a committee or board, help out at a special event, or be part of our annual fundraising campaign. You'll find great satisfaction and make a real difference locally.

It's a great opportunity for kids in grades 2-5 to plan and carry out projects in their communities. Throughout the fall, this group will meet after school, every other week on Fridays:
September 23, October 7 and 21, November 4 and 18, December 2
