Students enrolled in grades 4th, 5th and 6th grade are welcome to participate.


SCHedule & Commitment
1.5 hours per week

TEAM ONE: Mondays 6:00pm – 7:30pm 

TEAM TWO: Thursdays 6:00pm – 7:30pm

 Program details
The First LEGO League program is designed to get young students excited about science and technology. This program also focuses on teamwork, valuable employment and life skills. There are 10 spots allotted per team for this program. There will be two teams (total of 20 participants) this fall.

Lance Bailey
Instructor, Program Director

Lance Bailey is the current Physics instructor at Petoskey High School.  He was the co-founder of the First Robotics Program at Petoskey High School and has a passion about engaging kids at all levels in STEM activities.  He has taught all subjects of science at various age levels and instructs with a hands-on learning style that engages students in learning from their mistakes and applying their skill sets directly

Registration begins  AUGUST 1, 2016
